I finally watched The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. And wow, what an experience! The movie has everything. Suspense, drama, action, and even those spooky moments that give you chills. At the same time, it’s full of emotions. I felt completely pulled into the story.
Funny thing is, back in 2015, when I was in college, one of my juniors told me to watch it. He was a total movie junkie. He had this long list of recommendations. But I never got around to watching The Fellowship until now. It took me 10 years. And I have to say I regret waiting this long. The movie was worth every minute.
What I loved most was how it never felt slow, even though it’s long. The journey of the characters, the danger they face, and the bond between them kept me hooked. It’s one of those films where you don’t just watch, you feel like you’re traveling with them.
Another thing that surprised me was noticing how many actors from The Lord of the Rings also appear in Game of Thrones. That was a happy shock. Now it makes sense why they were chosen. They’d already nailed fantasy roles years before.
I’m excited to continue the journey and watch the second movie soon. And I’m definitely going to check out more from my junior’s old recommendation list. If you haven’t seen The Fellowship of the Ring yet, don’t make the same mistake I did. Watch it. You’ll love it.
